He started from geo hosting a popular T.V program Aalim online and later on he joined ARY Digital. Besides hosting he is also a writer and intellectual. He also appears as a journalist as he has got a journalist family background and accomplish in that position. He worked for 8 years in GEO T.V network and in 2010 he joined ARY Digital network. He faced many controversies in his career for instant the fake degree criticism.In,2005 Karachi university claimed that his degree is not recognized and HEC also reveals that he don’t possess a recognized degree.in 2011,Amir Liaquat Hussain’s leaked video was online in which he was using vulgar language and singing Indian tunes and telling about the Bollywood rape scenes. This shows the contradiction between his off-screen personality and on-screen religious man personality. Amir Liaquat Hussain declared that all these videos were fake and edited and said that this campaign is fake and is against him by certain in T.V channel.
