SUNNY-KANGNA’S ROM-COM Don’t remember when Sunny Deol was last seen as a lover boy on screen? The actor, who made dialogues like dhai kilo ka haath popular, has gone for an image change and will be seen as a dapper lover boy in the upcoming film I Love NY. In the film his romantic partner isKangna Ranaut. Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, I Love NY looks a quintessential mush story. In the trailer, Sunny Deol, an eligible bachelor, makes a New Year resolution to get married and celebrates it with his friends. Drinking and merry making goes until he finds himself in an unknown flat with a stunning Indian girl, played by Kangna Ranaut. Don’t ask how he ended up at Kangna’s place because the hero himself is clueless. And the rest we say is the story of the film. The theatrical trailer takes you through the twists and turns, and the happenings on the night of New Year’s Eve when the two complete strangers (a boy and a girl) coincidentally meet and create confusion in each other’s life. From the trailer, it’s evident that the mistaken identities play a great part in the script of the film. Kangna Ranaut as the cute, frustrated girl is comical yet very adorable. Her hairstyle and look has a very chic appeal. Surprisingly, Sunny Deol doesn’t try too hard to look and act cool as a lover. Also he and Kangna make a good pair. Then the movie also has the actress Tannishtha Chatterjee in a pivotal role. I Love NY is produced by T-Series, and is releasing on April 26. Here’s the trailer of the film:
